Google Chrome Update = Less RAM Usage

The Google Chrome browser is one of the most widely adopted internet browsers out there, but there is one particular function Google Chrome is good at and that is consuming RAM!!! Google Chrome absolutely slows down your PC and itself even on beefy systems. It has always been a feature the Chrome developers spoke about optimizing but never got around to it or failed when attempting it.

Today we found out that the next update to Chrome will optimize RAM usage, this is for all JavaScript websites as Chrome 55 features a new JavaScript engine that reduces the memory usage by up to 50%. The update also reduces memory fragmentation by around 2x. The engine in testing managed to save RAM on websites like YouTube and Reddit.

This is a well needed update and is sure to put smiles on many users.
