AMD Radeon RX 480… AMD’s Dropping Bombs

Earlier today AMD revealed the RX 480. It was released to aid AMD in its aim to bring down the cost of the Virtual Reality experience. The Card is a powerhouse running on FinFET with great specs and a low 150w power draw from a single 6 pin connector.

The card will be available in 4GB and 8GB versions and is said to be released on 29 June. The bombshell is that the card will cost only $199 (R 3117.30 – at current $ to R) but it will stand with cards twice its cost like the GTX 980, R9 Fury and the Radeon R9 390X.
